One was pulled pork with bbq sauce and it was amazing! We've been back for beers and snacks and this is a great little spot to meet with friends and hang out. Definitely recommended for a relaxed night out. |

A friend and I popped into The Greedy Pig in Gastown a few nights ago to see what it was like. It was not very busy and we were quickly seated and placing drink orders. I love their whiskey-based drink menu which makes for some satisfying spiciness in their cocktails. Cocktail size was also pretty big which is nice. They were just making a new batch of stew so I tried a buffalo mozza-eggplant panino and my friend tried their pulled pork sandwich. They were on the smaller side but the flavours were outstanding. I left the restaurant feeling satisfied and eager to return and show more friends this neat little spot. |

Cheese and butcher plates expensive for portion size. I was hoping for a bigger wine selection. Experience ruined by staff sitting around wathcing the hockey game. |

There were four of us and we each had one of their sandwiches which were so freakishly good that the word "sandwich" doesn't do them justice. We also shared a meat and cheese plate that was also pretty damn tasty. We washed it all down with a selection of interesting house specialty cocktails. Cant remember what they were called but they were good and boozy!
It was an oddly eclectic group of people dining and imbibing at the Greedy Pig and the folks who run the place were extremely outgoing and seemed to make everyone feel welcome.
I don't have much negative to say, the music was a little schizophrenic but other then that it was a good time had by all.
Cheers

Small wine selection, three draft beers, and a few cocktails. Service was slow but friendly. Big screen above the bar helps if you are dining solo. |
