Great place for light snacks!
I was just walking around the area and got hungry, so decided to get some tacos or something for a quick snack.

The place was very small but very cozy.
I ordered Honduran enchiladas with ground beef. The combination of crunchy tortilla (not like that U shape things), meet, red cabbage, and fresh salsa was tasty and you can get 2 of them for $5!
It was a total satisfaction.

I will definitely come back if Im in the area again. I should try their $10 meals, too.

Best Mexican Food
Upon entering this establishment we were greeted and directed to a decent size table. We felt a warm feeling from all the staff. They even sat down and talked to us as if we were family, very real people who know how to run a restaurant. The food quality was the best, the place was clean and the prices were reasonable.I will definitely be directing family and friends there.Well worth the adventure.

amazing seafood soup
This restaurant has horrible decor. The overhead flourescent lights are just atrocious, and the orange walls that are supposed to be bright and cheerful...are just not.

My 4-star food rating is for some of the dishes, which are hit and miss. So some dishes I've tried and really not liked, but some of the dishes are amazing. My absolute favorite is the seafood soup, the large is $15. I just had to try a $15 soup, and I wasn't disappointed. It had mussels, squid, a crab leg, and so many prawns I left some behind. The taste...its like a coconut-based soup, so delicious. And they also have the seafood-coconut on rice, and that is good too, but I LOVE the soup. And it comes with rice and corn tortillas, so it can be filling.

I'm not a fan of the rice, which I thought they just didn't know how to make properly. But apparently, that's how they make it in certain places in S. America, and other people seem to like it. I really don't like it. Also, the salsa is ok...I feel like I could make better salsa at home.

The ones I don't like are the $10 meat dishes at the back of the menu, just not my thing. And the soft corn enchildadas and burritos are too cheesey for me, but that might just be personal taste, a friend orders the burrito constantly and loves the cheese.

The other dishes I get all the time are the Honduran enchiladas...it's chicken and red cabbage on a crunchy tortilla, it has a particular seasoning that I can't quite figure out what it is, but I really like it. For $5, a tasty snack. And the soft-corn tortilla chicken tacos, plain but good.

Decent food, decent price
The food was alright, not a 10 although I did have a 7 moment. The meat used seemed a bit questionable, certainly not the prime cuts. Service was friendly but slow but we were sitting outside and the Mexican clientele was inside so that may have had something to do with it.
Prices were a little higher than El Caracolita next store but the ambiance was better. Very lively on Mexican clientele on the night were were there.
