Here's a great place for sushi in Cloverdale. They serve up some really yummy, quality sushi! Price might be higher than a joint in Newton, or a to-go style place, but it's worth it. The sashimi has always been fresh - the portions are generous, as are the hosts. Our family of 3 went 3 times in one week! We usually order the dinner combo for 2 ($36), and it's completely crazy the amount of food you get, we always take some home (usually the hot portion/teriyaki). It comes with full portions of miso, sunumono salad, tempura, a giant sushi boat with everything from sashimi, octopus, & california rolls, to tuna, salmon sushi, house rolls etc, it also comes with 2 orders of teriyaki (chicken/beef/tofu), and dessert!! Come hungry if you order this meal. Otherwise, go a la carte :-)
I think it's family-run, as the brother of the owner owns the one in Langley. Sure, the location means you're staring out of the window at No.10 Hwy, but just look the other way! The food is good, the people are nice and it's my go-to place for sushi in Surrey. Highly Recommend you try it out! |
